Presales Lead – Cybersecurity Services

Anzeige auf Englisch

HomeofficeKeine Angabe

FPT Software is a global IT and cybersecurity services provider. Our cybersecurity team runs

managed services delivered through a Global Cyber Defense Center (CDC): managed extended

detection and response (MXDR), cloud security, and security assessments. We served enterprise

customers across multiple regions and are expanding our presence in Germany and the wider

DACH region. This role sits within that team and supports the German market directly.

We are looking for a Presales Lead to be the client-facing point of contact for our cybersecurity

services across Germany and DACH. You will lead presales conversations with prospects and

customers, own the technical-commercial dialogue in German, and drive proposals through to

submission. You work closely with our internal technical engagement team and feed local

market and regulatory insight back into how we shape our offerings. This is a role for someone

who can lead a room, not just attend it.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent our cybersecurity services to German and DACH customers. Lead presales conversations end to end, own the customer meetings, present in German, and walk clients through our service offerings as the regional face of our cybersecurity team.
  • Drive RFPs and proposals. Take proposals from qualification to submission — independently or with the wider team — and navigate German and EU procurement, including formal tenders and public-sector processes.
  • Lead the conversation in the room. Address client questions and challenges with confidence. "Let me check and get back to you" is fine early on, but over time clients expect a presales lead who can answer and steer the discussion directly.
  • Work closely with the internal technical engagement team. Keep the pipeline transparent — opportunities, blockers, and where you need support — and engage the solutions team early so the right expertise is mobilized at the right time.
  • Shape our offerings with local insight. Feed German and DACH customer needs and regulatory drivers back into our service development and roadmap.
  • Translate regulation into business value. Connect drivers such as NIS2, DORA, KRITIS, BSI IT-Grundschutz and C5, GDPR and BDSG, and TISAX into clear, practical reasons for customers to act.

Requirements

  • Fluent German (C1+ or native) and business-level English; based in Germany.
  • A proven presales or solution-sales record in cybersecurity — managed security services,
  • MDR or managed extended detection and response (MXDR), SOC, or cloud security.
  • Working knowledge of the German and EU regulatory landscape (NIS2, DORA, KRITIS
  • and BSI, GDPR and BDSG).
  • Experience selling into German enterprise verticals such as manufacturing, energy and
  • utilities, financial services, or the public sector.
  • The ability to own client meetings and lead the commercial and technical conversation
  • directly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft security stack (Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel).
  • Experience responding to formal public-sector tenders in Germany or the EU.
  • An established network of customer and partner contacts in the DACH security market.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus — none is required, and any is welcome. For example:

-- Security management / governance: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP.

-- Cloud and vendor security: Microsoft (SC-200, SC-100, AZ-500), AWS Certified Security, or Google Cloud security credentials.

--Standards and frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer, or BSI
