Your students confirm in their evaluations an excellent quality of teaching and pedagogical aptitude. • You have a high affinity for computer science topics. • You have strong expertise in core areas of cybersecurity, with specialised knowledge in at least one subfield such as network security, cryptography, threat analysis, or application security. • You demonstrate practical proficiency with modern programming languages, frameworks, and state-of-the-art tools and technologies commonly used in the industry, such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, OWASP ZAP, or secure coding libraries. • You are internationally experienced and fluent in English for teaching and research purposes. • You possess research experience, ideally including the acquisition of funding. • You will provide new innovative directions for research and teaching. • Ideally, you are experienced in curriculum development and accreditation processes.

Your Profile • For an appointment you will need to fulfil all requirements according to Section 42 ff of the Brandenburg Higher Education Act (BbgHG).

Among others the requirements for professorship are: • Completed university studies. • Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications. • Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university after having obtained a master’s degree or equivalent. • You are experienced in teaching in university classrooms, with blended and online approaches.
