Professional competencies
• PhD or PhD Candidate (in specific cases) with strong knowledge in Cyber Security, Information Security, Network Security, or Digital Forensics.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CRISC, CCNA, and CCNP are highly recommended.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Microsoft Teams.
• Scientific publications in related disciplines.
• Fluent in English (C2 level); knowledge of German is desirable.
• Experience with educational platforms like Canvas or Blackboard.
• Knowledge of timetabling software and study regulations.

Responsibilities
• Conduct teaching and examination duties in accordance with the applicable examination and study regulations for students.
• Design and develop instructional materials to enhance student engagement.
• Revise, design, and develop curricula for assigned modules, ensuring alignment with academic standards and learning outcomes.
• Develop and set examinations or other assessment instruments, ensuring they are provided at least two weeks prior to semester end.
• Grade assessments within deadlines and submit evaluated materials promptly.
• Organize and facilitate inspection of written examinations or assessments.
• Participate in teaching evaluations by completing and submitting evaluation sheets for each course.
• Supervise student dissertations, providing guidance, feedback, and grading in line with academic standards.
