L3 Senior Network & Security Engineer - Telco Cloud IPsec Gateway

Required Technical Skill Set:

Advanced Juniper SRX/vSRX and Fortinet troubleshooting, IPsec/IKEv2, BGP, AWS/GCP hybrid cloud networking, root-cause analysis and technical escalation

Must-Have

JNCIS-SEC and Fortinet NSE 4 certifications

ITIL Foundation or equivalent operational process knowledge

Advanced troubleshooting of IPsec/IKEv2, BGP, firewalls and hybrid multi-cloud connectivity

Strong production experience across Juniper SRX/vSRX, Fortinet FortiGate VM, AWS and GCP networking

Root-cause analysis, problem management and complex change support

German security clearance SÜG Ü2 (SECRET)

Fluent English; German minimum B1/B2

Fortinet NSE 6/7

AWS Advanced Networking certification

Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer

Check Point Firewall and Management experience

Responsibility / Expectation

1 Lead diagnosis and recovery for complex, recurring and high-severity incidents escalated by L1/L2.

2 Provide 24x7 on-call or Follow-the-Sun technical support for CRITICAL and MAJOR incidents.

3 Perform deep troubleshooting across firewall, IPsec/IKEv2, BGP and AWS/GCP connectivity layers.

4 Drive root-cause analysis, permanent resolution, problem records and technical improvements.

5 Engage L4 and vendor support when required, and mentor L1/L2 engineers through knowledge transfer and operational guidance.
