Information Security Analyst (Remote First)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and analyze logs for signs of unauthorized access, malicious activity, and policy violations.
• Investigate security alerts and incidents, determining the scope and impact, and initiating appropriate response actions.
• Implement and maintain security tools and technologies, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts in collaboration with IT teams.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices to enhance security defenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT support with a security focus.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common cybersecurity threats.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot security-related issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, suited for a remote-first setting.
