Global Industrial Cybersecurity Manager As the Global Industrial Cybersecurity Manager, you will execute and enhance Hitachi Energy’s global Industrial Cybersecurity (ICS) Program across all manufacturing, assembly, and test facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and compliance practices while driving daily program execution and fostering strong collaboration across business units.

Your expertise in industrial control systems and operational technology (OT) will guide our efforts to protect critical control systems and networks from cyber threats, ensuring the safety, integrity, and resilience of our industrial processes.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning ourICS initiatives with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and the broader enterprise cybersecurity strategy. This is a senior‑level position that combines governance and compliance oversight with hands‑on program management and deep industrial cybersecurity domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities Governance establish structured governance processes and promote risk‑aware decision‑making across industrial operations. Risk Management: OverseeICS risk assessments and mitigation strategies for critical industrial assets; monitor risk posture, identify security gaps, and track remediation through metrics and dashboards.

Program manage projects and initiatives from core control implementations to site‑level enhancements, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while managing resources and vendor relationships.

Stakeholder Coordination serve as liaison between industrial sites and central cybersecurity functions, aligning OT security measures with global cybersecurity frameworks and incident response procedures.

Leadership coordinate identification, investigation, and resolution in partnership with CDC and site responders, minimizing operational disruptions. Technical Oversight apply deep knowledge of industrial protocols,ICS/SCADA systems, and safety‑critical processes to inform security architecture decisions.

Awareness engage with industry forums, standards bodies, and cybersecurity communities; act as senior advisor for OT/ICS initiatives and represent theICS Program in leadership forums. Qualifications Education advanced cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, GICSP) or relevant risk management certifications (CGEIT, CRISC) highly desirable.

Industrial Cybersecurity Expertise: Minimum8–10years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity focused on industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), and critical infrastructure protection; strong domain knowledge ofICS/SCADA systems, OT network architectures, and associated cybersecurity challenges.

Governance familiarity with global cybersecurity frameworks and standards (IEC62443, NIST CSF, NIS2, ISO27001). Program excellent communication skills to translate technical topics into clear business terms and influence senior stakeholders. Strategic exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
