Access to modern technology and targeted training. Cybersecurity Engineer (f/m/d) Gallmond GmbH in Leipzig, SN, DE is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for our SOC / Cyber Detection and Response Center. Responsibilities Implement monitoring use cases and develop rules for detecting threats.
Expand the toolset with functions such as threat intelligence and contextual data. Create technical documentation and advise on Cyber Security projects, contributing expertise to new solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security. Several years of experience in Cyber Security.
Familiarity with SIEM systems such as Splunk and SOAR platforms. Proficiency in Python scripting. Experience with log formats, REST APIs, and CI/CD processes. Knowledge of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. Well‑versed in Windows and Linux systems. Initial experience with machine learning in cybersecurity is an advantage.
Cloud knowledge is helpful. Excellent command of German and English; professional communication skills. Opportunity to contribute ideas and solutions directly. Significant impact on improving SOC maturity. Salary package ranges up to €80,000 for experienced specialists.
