Role The Business Consultant’s main mission is to build and maintain trusted technical and business advisor relationships with relevant customer stakeholders for assigned strategic accounts.

The role involves architecting solutions that help customers achieve both technical and financial goals, preparing business cases, and supporting the sales cycle for mid‑market and small‑enterprise accounts. Responsibilities Create and nurture consultative relationships with customers and stakeholders on technical and business levels.

Lead architectural design aligned with Fortinet’s technology strategy and key business drivers, demonstrating how solutions address customer business problems. Ensure awareness of Fortinet’s corporate strategy and key solution offerings. Project manage the technical sales cycle for large transactions.

Maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory trends to differentiate Fortinet from competitors. Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience in cybersecurity, networking, and solution architecture with proven success. Senior, customer‑focused technical engineering sales professional experienced in driving mult‑million dollar transactions.

Strong collaborator, self‑motivated, excellent communicator with an entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to interface with senior levels of internal and external organizations. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills for executives and individual contributors. Fluent in German and English.

Willingness to travel 20‑50% of the time.
